My Norton security sub exprires in a couple of weeks. I've heard a lot of negatives about Norton mostly about the resources Norton gobbles up which slows down everything else. My computer does seem to be be a bit pokey at times. Would dropping Norton improve performance? What should I switch to? Any advice would be appreciated.

I saw it in the Duluth News Tribune in the Religion Roundup section. Couldn't find it on their web site.

That will be a fine vehicle for the masses. Don't expect the politicians to drive one though. They like the SUV way too much, especially SUV's that are appropriately equipped.

Driving pet peeves
by keyser soze ini have to confess that i sometimes suffer from a minor case of road rage, especially on the expressway, right after work.
i have quite a few pet peeves, but two that especially bother me.. first, when people apply their brakes constantly, and for no apparent reason.
it's generally people who have already cut in front of me and forced me to slow down.

Drivers not using turn signals. Even worse, drivers signaling when they are already half way through their turn. Texting while driving. That practice is worse than driving drunk in my opinion. When I get my motorcycle out my list of pet peeves grows and grows and grows.

by frozen one inhere's the last minute of last night's princeton/minnesota-duluth hockey game.
this is probably more exciting if you have a connection to duluth, but it is fun to watch...unless you are a princeton fan.

I played in the circuit orchestra a few times back in the day. The hall I grew up in had a piano and a couple of piano players. While both had real talent, one was awesome. And no matter which one was playing, the congregation sang their hearts out. Then Mother said "no live music, pre-recorded more Godly" or some such crap so the keyboard cover was closed and the tapes rolled. The congregation didn't sing with nearly the gusto as before.

I was told by a CO in 1980 that I would not finish a Bachelors Degree before Armygetton. I actually finished it in 2001. While it was a strange thing to be told, looking back it is stranger that I believed that bullshit.
After a major earthquake in Mexico during the 1990's killed hundreds and left thousands homeless, an elder told me that the news of the quake filled his heart with joy because it proved how close the end was. Sick, sick, sick.
